Day 67

Pre-Algebra: Chapter 6-5

Multiplying and Dividing Decimals

To multiply with decimals, just multiply the numbers and arrive at your final answer. Count, from the right, the number of places to the decimals in the 2 numbers that you are multiplying. In your final answer, move the same number of decimals from the right side of the answer!

To divide decimals, look at this page, its easier than me saying to you! Click here!

Algebra: Chapter 9-4

Inequalities and Absolute Value

If the inequality with absolute values looks like: | A | < b, then we solve the conjunction -b < A < b. Think a number line, and the solution will be within the bounds of -b and b. This also works with ≤. If the inequality with absolute values look like: | A | > b, then we solve the disjunction A < -b OR A > b. On the number line, these solutions look like arrows on the outside of the values -b and b. This works for ≥ as well.  Click here for examples!
