We went over the midterm review problems last Wednesday, January 23 in class. The midterm begins tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday, January 30 and 31. Be ready!

Measures of Central Tendency
Last Wednesday, we talked about data and its uses. Here are the 3 definitions that we learned about.
- Mean: The mean of a set of data is the sum of the data divided by the number of pieces of data.
- Median: The median is the number in the middle when the data are arranged in order from smallest to largest. When there are 2 middle numbers, the median is their mean.
- Mode: The mode of a set of data is the number or item that appears most often.
The most common mistake students make is to NOT PUT THE DATA IN ORDER! Here is a link with examples!
